Snail Mail

I am beyond thrilled that our first payment got put in the 'ole snail mail today!! What an amazing way to begin this journey: meeting our first goal in a timely and God-driven way. It has been so amazing to see God meet our needs!! I have literally been stressed over specific (large) dollar amounts, finally given it to God instead of trying to worry it into being, and within a few hours, the money is there. It is such a beautiful reminder that He truly does want to hear from us. That He cares about our needs and wants to meet them...He just wants us to ask! And in His wisdom, He will provide what we need, whether it's what we initially asked for or not. :)

So, here we go again!! You'll notice our nifty little thermometer is ready to roll with this next round of fundraising. We will need to begin the home study process right away, and start fingerprinting and all that super fun stuff...and all that costs quite a bit. So, we are working. We are praying. We are trusting that God will provide through fundraisers and supporters to bring our babies home. :)

And, in case you're totally bummed out that you didn't get in on the Valentine goodies...never fear!!! "Baking For My Baby(ies)" does cakes and cookies for events!!
